In cooking, what does it mean to:Set a wire rack on the baking sheet.
Basically l wanna know what a wire rack is?
A wire rack is a rack that fits inside the roasting pan. It is
used to elevate meats and other foods so that grease can be drained from
the food.
NO its not the rack from the oven, its a cooling rack so your
baked goods can cool evenly
It needs to be raised up from the surface so air can get underneath to
cool your goodies
the thing underneath the brownies is a wire rack in this
picture. It is important to put your cookies, muffins, etc. on a wire rack
to allow the goodies to cool quicker.

A wire rack is the same thing you use to cool cookies once you
take them off of the baking sheet.
A wire rack is like a rack in your oven that you put things on
it while it bakes. What it means is to set your cookies or cake on a wire
rack to cool.
