I have a recipe for baked apples, says put parchment paper on the cookie sheet before baking. I'm out of paper
is there a substitute l can use as I am out of parchment paper?l do not
know how well aluminum foil would react with the apples.
Best thing to do is skip lining the pan and make sure it is
greased with butter and sprinkled with flour for easy removal of the
apples.
Foil is OK, but many people don't like it.
You could put them straight onto the baking sheet.
ANY paper will do. Clean A/4 is good too.
Or, no paper but butter the pan and spread breadcrumbs on it so you can
put the pie on it, it will easily come off.
